Install Prodemy on your phone
How to install the prodemy progressive web app
Last updated June 3, 2026
You can add Prodemy to your phone's home screen and use it like any other app — no App Store or Google Play download required. Once it's installed, Prodemy opens full screen with its own icon, remembers you're signed in, and can send you push notifications even when it's closed. Most of the time Prodemy will offer to install itself: after you sign in on your phone, a prompt slides up from the bottom of the screen guiding you through it. If you've dismissed that prompt or want to do it manually, follow the steps for your device below.
Install on iPhone or iPad On Apple devices, you'll need to use Safari — Chrome and other browsers on iPhone and iPad can't install apps to the home screen.
Open Safari and go to prodemy.app. Sign in to your account. Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up, in the bottom toolbar. Scroll down the share menu and tap Add to Home Screen. Confirm the name (Prodemy) and tap Add in the top corner.
The Prodemy icon now appears on your home screen. Tap it any time to open the app full screen.
Install on Android On Android, use Chrome.
Open Chrome and go to prodemy.app. Sign in to your account. When the Add Prodemy to home screen prompt appears, tap Add to home screen. If you don't see it, tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner and choose Install app (it may be labelled Add to Home screen). Confirm by tapping Install.
The Prodemy icon is added to your home screen and app drawer.
Quick shortcuts on Android Once Prodemy is installed, press and hold its icon to jump straight to a section of the app — Dashboard, My schedule, or Notifications — without opening the home page first. Turn on push notifications Push notifications let Prodemy alert you about payments, class updates, coach feedback, and reminders even when the app isn't open.
Open the installed Prodemy app from your home screen (this matters on iPhone — see the note below). Go to Settings → Notifications. Switch on Push notifications. When your phone asks for permission, tap Allow.
You can fine-tune which kinds of alerts you receive using the category toggles in the same Notifications section, and you can switch push back off at any time from there.
A note for iPhone users On iPhone and iPad, push notifications work only when Prodemy has been installed to your home screen and opened from that icon — they won't work from a Safari tab. Your device also needs iOS 16.4 or later. If the Push notifications toggle isn't doing anything, install the app first (see the steps above), then open it from the home screen and try again.
Using Prodemy offline If you lose your connection while using the installed app, Prodemy shows a simple offline screen instead of an error. Pages you've already visited — such as your schedule and recent notifications — stay available, and you can tap Try again to reload once you're back online.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a real app, or just a shortcut? It's a real installed app. After installing, Prodemy runs in its own window with no browser address bar, keeps you signed in, and can send notifications and show a badge on its icon. It simply installs from the web instead of from an app store.
Will it take up much space? No. Because it installs from the web, Prodemy uses far less storage than a typical app store download.
How do I update it? Updates happen automatically. When a new version is ready, you'll see a short banner offering to reload — tap it and you're on the latest version.
How do I remove it? Remove it the same way you'd remove any app: press and hold the Prodemy icon and choose to delete or uninstall it. Your account and data are unaffected — you can reinstall any time, or keep using Prodemy in your browser.
The install prompt never appeared — what do I do? Follow the manual steps for your device above. On iPhone, double-check you're using Safari. On Android, use Chrome and look for Install app in the ⋮ menu. If you've recently dismissed the prompt, it won't reappear for a few days, but the manual steps work straight away.
